I got a real disturbing message on my voice mail from someone claiming to be with FL legal deparment and that my name and ssn is in legal trouble. If he doesn't hear from me or my attorney then he will send someone to my home and he then stated my address and my work which he will see to it that I loose my job. He was very hard to understand foreign accent.

Calls 5-6 times per day with no message.

Just received a call from this number with the same message about a Credit Union card. We also do not have anything to do with a Credit Union and immediately hung up when it asked to press '1'.

I received a threatening phone call from a man with a thick middle-eastern accent who claims his name is Kevin Jones. I couldn't tell what he was referring to, so I called him back and asked to speak with someone who spoke better english than he. At that point, he hung up. Since then, he has been calling where I work, and seems to have my social security number. I called the police, but he said I need some sort of documentation to pursue this matter further. Thanks to this web site, I now have evidence.

Keeps calling. I don't answer. Don't know anyone from this number. Wish they would stop calling my cell phone. Very annoying!

Called on behalf of the Columbia Firefighters Association to ask for money. Abruptly hung up on me when I couldn't give.

Called me both on home phone line and cell phone within 20 minutes of each. Did not leave a message, but when I called back there was an answering service for some spanish woman's name.

Called multiple times claiming to want to help with debt. 2nd time I told them to put me on their do not call list. 3rd time I said I would report to the authorities and they transferred me to a "quality" department, who told me service was owned by a "Spanish guy" and that to be removed I had to be transferred to a computer recording service and tell them that I wanted to be removed. I said yes to this and then at the last minute they said I had to say the phrase (phonetic spelling) "MA BA-RA HUEM" 3 times. When I asked what this meant they hung up.

No one was on the line when we answered the phone.
